We're looking for a Full-Stack Product Engineer who wants to own products end to end: helping work out what gets built, then building it, from the data model and services underneath through to the interface people use. A strong backend background counts for a lot here, because most of what makes these products good sits under the surface.
For the last few years we've built what works like an internal Bloomberg terminal for trading card markets: pricing engines, market intelligence, and the tooling our traders use every day. It's what the business runs on. Recently we started pointing that same intelligence outward, building products that give people outside the company the kind of market insight we've been trading on ourselves. Two are live now, and it's where a lot of our engineering is going next. You'd work on both: the systems our own desk depends on, and the products built on top of them. We're small enough that you'll have a real say in what we build and where it goes next.
What You'll Do
- Own features end to end, from working out what to build with the people who'll use it through to shipping it
- Ship across the stack: data model, API, and the interface on top
- Build the services and data pipelines behind pricing, market intelligence, and execution
- Help decide where our public products go next, and what they should do
- Work directly with traders and turn how they actually operate into something that works
- Keep our systems holding up as data volume and usage grow
- Help bring AI tooling into the product and into how we build
What We're Looking For
- You've owned features end to end and you care how they turn out for the people using them
- You think about where the work has the most impact, rather than working down a list
- A strong backend background, Python preferred. Comfortable owning services and data models, and thinking about how they hold up over time
- Solid frontend skills with React, Next.js, or something similar
- Good with SQL and relational database design, including when the data gets big and queries get slow
- Comfortable making architecture decisions and living with them
- Clear communicator who can work closely with people who aren't engineers
- Self-motivated and effective in a small team that moves fast
Nice to Have
- Experience with financial markets, trading systems, or algorithmic strategies
- Interest in trading cards, collectibles, or the markets around them
- FastAPI or similar Python frameworks
- A background in data engineering or working with large datasets
- Experience with web scraping, marketplace integrations, or third-party APIs
- You use AI coding tools daily (Claude, Copilot, Cursor). We do, and we find them genuinely useful
